Almost 10 years ago we started making this film, but it never had closure because I wasn’t flying at the time. I was crippled by anxiety and trauma and had convinced myself I would never get on a plane again. At one point I told my manager, “Let the documentary come out when I’m dead.”

I’m still here. And today, the documentary is out on Hulu.

I hope my story can inspire someone who needs it the way I needed stories like this when I was a kid. For anyone who feels trapped, like their dreams are out of reach or certain things just aren’t accessible to them, I want them to know they’re not as far away as they might seem.

I hope it can encourage anyone dealing with trauma, addiction, fear, or anything else weighing them down to keep going and overcome it. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

More than anything, I hope everyone who watches can take something from it.

I’m grateful to be alive, grateful for this life, and grateful to live it in honor and memory of the friends and family I’ve lost along the way.

Day one update.

No crossings this morning — the weather wasn’t suitable, so I switched to Plan B.

I captured footage of illegal migrants buying life jackets from a well-known outdoor store, then tracked them afterwards.

That led to another success: following the route from Calais bus station towards what appears to be the final beach.

Tomorrow looks more promising weather-wise, and after today’s tracking I’m more confident about where to be.

I’ll be entering the dunes to try and capture footage of them approaching the beach. With police already in the area, in theory they should stop them.

Let’s see if the French authorities do what they’re paid to do.

Police issue a section 60AA which means no face coverings, as the day goes on you can see most of the Far-Left/Antifa are still wearing face coverings! Yet a well known content creator in Manchester is immediately arrested for wearing one! 2 tier policing on show again.

They wanted to kill me. I'm still here. I was attacked in the Paris May Day protest by Antifa. I suffered multiple facial fractures and a concussion.

These groups will label you far right, a nazi just for speaking to people on the right, and more importantly if you question immigration.

We're seeing the far left become more radicalised. Not long ago in Lyon, Quentin Deranque was killed at the hands of the same people.

Independent journalists are the ones exposing them for what they are. That's why we're targets.
