A Young Muslimah Making the Ummah Proud Through Knowledge

One such inspiring example is Fatima Adamu Maikusa, a brilliant 14-year-old Muslimah from Gombe State, Nigeria, whose remarkable achievements in mathematics have brought honor to her family, her nation, and the Muslim Ummah.

Fatima first gained international recognition at the tender age of nine when she emerged victorious in the prestigious American Mathematics Competition (AMC 08). Since then, she has continued to demonstrate exceptional talent, dedication, and perseverance in the field of mathematics.

Currently a Grade 11 student at NTIC Kano Girls College, Fatima has earned no fewer than seven international medals through various global mathematics competitions. Her achievements include outstanding performances at the International Eduversal Mathematics Competition in Jakarta, Indonesia; the International Math Challenge in Bangkok, Thailand; the Kangourou Sans Frontières (KSF) Mathematics Competition; and the Mathematics Without Borders Competition in Bulgaria, among others.

Her success serves as a powerful reminder that Islam encourages the pursuit of beneficial knowledge. Throughout history, Muslim scholars excelled in mathematics, science, medicine, and other fields, contributing greatly to human civilization. Young talents like Fatima continue this noble legacy and demonstrate that Muslim youth can compete and excel on the global stage while remaining grounded in their values.

May Allah ﷻ continue to bless Fatima Adamu Maikusa with wisdom, sincerity, and success. May He make her a source of inspiration for young Muslim girls and boys across the world, and may He raise a generation that seeks knowledge for the benefit of humanity and the pleasure of Allah.

This video is heartbreaking Wallahi I’m crying after watching it 😭💔and it deserves national attention. These women in Maraba, Kaduna, are protesting because bandits have been entering their homes and abducting their children. Some of the victims are very young children, including breastfeeding babies taken away from their mothers. Yet, according to the families, they have received little or no meaningful action from the government.

To all the @ubasanius the governor of Kaduna State PR bots constantly promoting politicians online, why aren’t you sharing this? Why can’t you use the same energy to amplify the cries of these mothers and help the victims? You are quick to praise politicians, but silent when innocent children are abducted and families are left in pain.

This video must go viral until Governor @ubasanius and the relevant authorities see it and act. These mothers deserve answers. These children deserve to come home.
