Tale of two halves today. First half way off the pace, and vitals not being put in. Massive praise to the lads though for not giving up and winning the second half, with a huge improvement.

Numbers again our bane this weekend, along with the 45 minute arctic storm 😫

[Elstow Abbey Reserves @AbbeyReserves]

Huge praise to the QP lads. A very young and inexperienced side, but they didn't give up and made it difficult for us. They should walk away from today's game with their heads held high. Best of luck for the rest of the season ♥️

New signing P.Odiete will be hoping to impress.

It's taken some time, but we are delighted to announce that we have secured the services of "Goal machine" Ash Windridge ♥️

The Abbey progress to the next round of The Watson Cup. Not one, but two penalty misses for The Abbey in the first half 😫

Abbey's goal coming from G.Whitmore from a M.Reynolds assist.

Clean sheet for B.Holliday 💪

@BedsFA Teams are very quick to jump on a referee, but today's official S.King was very good.

She handled the game very well and was not intimated at all.

That's the end of this years footy for The Abbey. Up against a difficult Caldecotte side today, but seeing the year off with a very good win. Some unreal performances today ♥️

Another week without football 😞 This time, the weather causing our game Vs Harlington Ressies to be called off. No game in 2 weeks and a free week next weekend 😫

Any teams available for a friendly next Saturday? Hit us up

[Elstow Abbey Reserves @AbbeyReserves]

Some awful news regarding one of our players, @Maradolski

10 weeks ago in one of our games, he suffered a horrible looking injury, which 10 weeks on, has been confirmed as a ruptured ACL and a torn miniscus 😭

Everyone at the club send their best to you Liam 🙏

[Elstow Abbey Reserves @AbbeyReserves]

@Abbey_loveheart @BedsFootballPod They travelled down in the morning and got to Bedford for 12.45 only to be told when they got to the station, they couldn't get a team together.
Commitment to play from some is 👌 they don't drive, so get trains ❤️

[Elstow Abbey Reserves @AbbeyReserves]

Abbey get the 3 points today, after CS Rovers delightfully notified us 1.5 Hrs before Kickoff, they couldn't raise a team 🤦

Abbey players both gutted and rightfully pissed. Players travelled on train to play today and some changed their family plans. Football hey 🤦
