Big thanks to the experts who allowed me to interview them for this piece--most of whom spent over an hour on the phone with me: @alwaystheself @hshellae@RDGperception @DevineLab Your expertise was invaluable. 🙌
The last six (!) weeks have been an emotional roller coaster. Every day (hour?) feels different. I can go from anger to fear to apathy in a matter of minutes—and that's normal. Check out my latest for @elemental https://t.co/ZBrn2Gs68s
For @adage’s PR issue, my best friend wrote an excellent op-ed about lessons she learned from a PR snafu at her old job. Her former boss (a powerful, white male) didn’t like it so he threatened her and the mag until they took the piece down. How is this ok??
An excellent question from @Abbi_L over at @glamour: Are the female journalists reporting on #MeToo inside their own organizations between handed the reigns of the narrative or thrust into the line of fire? https://t.co/8UIJSKJJGs
My latest for @glamourmag: Why, when it comes to sexual assault and harassment allegations, are women the ones tasked with not only telling their male coworkers’ stories but also doing the emotional labor of making everyone feel ok about it? https://t.co/NsjRSTLo2i
