Point of correction, we Muslims don’t pray because of worldly needs alone. And asking what a billionaire is still praying for shows a big misunderstanding of what prayer means in Islam. Salah is about submission, gratitude, and acknowledging our status as servants of the Almighty.

Wealth cannot not buy you a pass out of your obligations to the Creator. A rich man needs forgiveness, peace of mind, good health, and a favorable standing in the hereafter just like anyone else.

On that prayer mat, your net worth is zero. In fact, some of the ordinary persons behind him, might hold a higher status in the sight of the Almighty.

So, Dangote is sitting there as a servant of Allah fulfilling his ultimate purpose of why he is on earth in the first place.

My dad did this to us.😂

He would send us to his construction sites and pay his site engineers extra money just to ensure he gives us extra work and make sure we finish it.

We will go home in the evening to complain to him, he will tell us that he will talk to the man only for the work to double the next day.😂

Nobody told us to stop complaining to him and start doing the work.

We would mix cement, turn concrete, bend rods, lay blocks, fetch water for the professionals on site, doing the electrical work, roofing, etc.

The laborers will be shouting on our heads with no respect for "oga's children". Little did we know they had full backing from Oga.😩

He just wanted us to be around the engineers and actually get involved in all phases of construction.

Looking back now, it was those things that helped us transition easily into real estate and built our first 60 room self contain apartments few years after his demise.

Every single thing that man was doing to us was intentional. He was preparing us for life.❤️

My coursemates and I contributed ₦1.2 million for one of our classmates who has been jobless for the past 6 years.

We raised the money to help him learn a skill or start a small business so he could get back on his feet.

Just last week, he sent his wedding invitation in the group.

The whole group went silent.

When we asked him why, he said since he now had “a little money,” he decided it was the right time to marry his girlfriend of 4 years.

We said nothing.

He sent another message:

“Guys please, I can’t do this alone. My wedding budget is ₦3.2 million. I need your support.”

They removed him from the group immediately🙄
