Islam is the religion for all mankind. It is not for a particular people at the exclusion of others, but it is incumbent on everyone who hears about it to believe in it. Islam is a religion which does not differentiate between people based on their color or race.
The holy Quran’s main theme, reiterated over and over in powerful terms, is the reality of God’s existence and supreme power, the purposefulness of His creation and of all that occurs, and man’s position as God’s slave who is accountable to Him in everything.
It is a duty upon every daughter to be dutiful to her parents. Indeed, in the noble Quran, dutifulness to one’s parent has been associated with one’s primary duty, which is the worship of Allah alone.
Aqeedah is also part of the characteristic of Islam i.e. the stern belief in the oneness of God, the Creator of the universe, the Omnipotent, the omnipresent. He begotten no one and no one begot Him.
Men and women are also equally responsible for applying the commandments of Allah and fulfilling their obligations in their different aspects (spiritual, physical and financial).
The first revelation received by the Prophet Mohammad in Hira cave contains the prophecy that through the holy Quran knowledge would be vouchsafed to man to which he had no access before. Consequently, it shows us the errors that crept into previous scriptures.

The prophet Muhammad had a great personality in terms of physical appearance as well as his conduct. Apart from having a smiling face, he was a very friendly person to both Muslims and non-Muslims
Islam teaches kindness in all human’s endeavor, to be kind to every living soul. If you are in the midst of your kindred, let your character reflect Islam, in the midst of your neighbor either those who share same faith with you or have different view to your faith, be kind.
The holy Quran also explains that the mission of all the prophets was one, all of them called their people towards the Allah oneness, asking them to single Him out in all their acts of worship without associating any partners with Him.
Another striking personality attribute of Prophet Muhammad is his modesty. He was the modest of all and never encouraged any kind of vulgarity, rather he was bashful and strongly encouraged modesty in his followers
Check the teachings of islam about warfare, and you will understand the genesis of rules of engagement. Islam made us understand the consequence of neglecting “soft-targets” in war. The kids, widows, aged and the disables are not to be targeted in war, no matter the situation.
As Zakat is one of the five pillars of Islam, so the Prophet Mohammad always emphasized on its importance by doing charity used to observe zakat and showed the real meaning of it by sharing everything he had with other needy people.
A Muslim must choose an appropriate time for visiting. Do not visit at inconvenient times such as mealtime, or when people are sleeping, resting or relaxing or working.
According to the Islamic etiquette; Salaam or greet your brother first. Whoever that greet another first has a greater rewards. This is to promote respect among Muslims.
The prophet Muhammad always gives solutions. When he was asked by his friend or his people, he would have tried to answer him, even though he did not know. He would try to find him even though he should ask another person.
