There are 2 things you can do right now to hurt PlayStation:
1. Buy a Nintendo Switch and only buy physical games (full game on cartridge not code on card). As Nintendo keeps winning the console war on sales, it’ll crush Sony’s stock.
2. Delete and re-download your entire digital PlayStation collection. They don’t have the server capacity for millions of people constantly pulling down gigs of data.
If everyone with a PS5 starts re-downloading 5-10 games the night GTA 6 early access begins, it’ll take days for people to actually play the game they just bought. Sony will feel that in their bottom line when they realize they'll have to build a Colossus-sized server farm just to keep up with the downloads and re-downloads since 2 TB is not enough to hold an entire game collection. Shipping 128 GB will be cheaper than maintaining more server farms, especially while they are getting massive community opposition.
