Suite au succès de la session organisée à Port-au-Prince, l’Ambassade des États-Unis est fière d’avoir étendu à Cap-Haïtien, les 23 et 24 juin, la formation intitulée « Le journaliste augmenté : intégrer les IA génératives sans perdre le contrôle éditorial ». Cette initiative financée par les États-Unis a réuni 35 journalistes de la région, poursuivant ainsi son objectif de doter les professionnels des médias haïtiens, à l’échelle nationale, des outils nécessaires pour intégrer de manière responsable l’IA générative dans leur travail journalistique, tout en respectant les normes les plus strictes en matière d’intégrité éditoriale et de supervision humaine.
Les États-Unis demeurent résolument engagés à soutenir une presse libre et innovante sur l’ensemble du territoire haïtien.

Building on the success of our Port-au-Prince session, the U.S. Embassy is proud to have expanded “The Augmented Journalist: Integrating Generative AI Without Losing Editorial Control” to Cap-Haitien on June 23–24. This U.S.-funded initiative brought together 35 journalists from the region, continuing to equip Haitian media professionals nationwide with the tools to responsibly integrate generative AI into their reporting — upholding the highest standards of editorial integrity and human oversight.
The United States remains committed to supporting a free and innovative press across all of Haiti.
