A snake-like robot could be the “future of endoscopic surgery” according to Dr @dejolaleye.
The robot, called COBRA, has been developed by the team @UoN_UTC for use in the aviation and nuclear industries but is now being refined for medical use with help from Dr Olaleye.
Watch Dr Abdelkhalick Mohammad, Assistant Professor in Mechatronics @UoNEngineering, speak to @Notts_TV about how @UoN_UTC researchers are now refining their COBRA robot for use in human surgery.

I am very proud to develop this robot with @yihua_fang while working as part of RAIN hub @RAIN_hub, it is was a long and interesting journey to achieve this snake-like robot working in amazing way at Rolls-Royce UTC, University of Nottingham @UoN_UTC.
Not your ordinary big fish story: NASA’s Super Guppy delivers Orion spacecraft to Ohio for testing at Plum Brook Station in advance of Artemis I mission.
More than 350 people attended the event in Cumbria last month with @GC_Innovators and @SellafieldLtd. Here's a video to give a flavour of the day, and why it's so important to get together and collaborate. Thanks to everyone that came along!
Today our team is showcasing some of our robots at the Game Change through the use of Robotics event in Cumbria. This event is a platform for stimulating a new ideas, innovation and discussion. #robotics#ArtificialInteligence@RAIN_hub@DannyWang2016
