@CastleDavi62635 @evillaingo @TheKavernacle Folks I still talk to are all about Crimson Desert atm. When I'm at the new job, when the topic of games comes up it mostly revolves around the aforementioned CoD and the like, I had to explain what ARC Raiders was to my manager. He bought it, didn't like it

[AbdominalStretch!!! @Abdolemite]

@CastleDavi62635 @evillaingo @TheKavernacle Also, most devs I've worked with tend to have varied taste, I'm a Monster Hunter/Street Fighter player who dabbles in a lot of indie games, but I have also worked with folks who were just as big on CoD. Conversations at work were usually about the flavor of the month (cont)

@CastleDavi62635 @evillaingo @TheKavernacle Most of the folks I still talk to are raving about Crimson Desert rn. At my new job, it's pretty much the aformentioned CoD and the like, I mention Crimson and I get met with blank stares, Like on dude din't know what ARC Raiders was.

[AbdominalStretch!!! @Abdolemite]

@CastleDavi62635 @evillaingo @TheKavernacle The public mostly, I work in health care now and when the topic of gaming comes up, most folks play either CoD, Fortnite, or 2K

[AbdominalStretch!!! @Abdolemite]

@evillaingo @CastleDavi62635 @TheKavernacle To be fair,as dogshit as his gaming opinions are, he had a point. I worked in game dev but now I work a "normie" job, they love "Gun n Ball"but they also have really bad politics.

@TheCartelDel When I moved to Upstate Ny for work back in 2005, I heard Bernie on the Local NPR and thought to myself "This guy sounds amazing, He'd be great as pres"
Then he ran...and we know how that turned out...Still mad about 2016

@arvalis Damn shame too, we both drew a lot of comics when we were in school and I would have loved to see what he would produce if he'd continued art.

[AbdominalStretch!!! @Abdolemite]

@arvalis One of the best artist I knew in high school went on to graduate from the art program I had flunked out of. He went to college for art while I could only manage to go to the local Art Institute. He's now a Navy Recruiter and I never see him post any art on his Socials
