There are four living things mentioned in the Quran that walked the earth and breathed, but none of them were ever born from a womb. They had no mothers. Can you name all four of them?
1. Retro jersey of his favourite football team.
2. Ticket to watch his favourite football team in their home stadium.
3. New car tyres if he drives.
4. Black shoes £100 upward.
5. Order food tray of his favourite food for him.
6. New release jersey of his favourite football team with his name on it.
7. Full tank monthly if he drives.
8. Three different plain baggy jean, black, blue and brown.
9. Retro jersey of his country football team.
10. If you cannot get him any of these, leave him alone.
Life goes on, with or without you. Be prepared for whatever comes your way. When you least expect it, it will test you & challenge you. How you respond will set the tone for the rest of your life. Don’t take things for granted. Be on guard always because Satan is waiting for you to fall.
To some ignorant Muslims, the rest of us are “not Muslim enough” because we refuse to stand with identified Muslim terrorists, we are “not Muslim enough” because we do not support what Gumi is doing, we are “not Muslim enough” because we refuse to defend and stand with the killers of Deborah, we are “not Muslim enough” because we identify as Yorubas, we are “not Muslim enough” because we live in peace and harmony with non-Muslims.
To any Muslim who sees known muslim terrorists as “brothers in faith,” who supports Gumi’s negotiations with bandits, who praises Deborah’s killers or carries the same ideology, may Allah expose your hypocrisy, hold you accountable and humiliate you.
May Allah make you taste the sadness that Deborah’s family carries and the pain that the families of the Kebbi schoolgirls are going through.
May Allah cleanse this Ummah from those who use Islam to justify oppression, hatred, and violence.
And may Allah protect the innocent Muslim and non-Muslim from those who hide behind this religion to commit evil.
Āmīn.
ILORIN as a case study.
As someone who live in family house all my life, I can tell you for sure that cooking like this doesn’t happen everyday and whenever it happens, everyone participates, the husbands, the wives, both old and young, even the kids will happily come out to do it. We also enjoy doing it, nobody force anyone to do it.
In fact some family members who doesn’t stay at family house will come to sleep a day before or come very early to observe subhi at family house so they can also participate. Aside Eid, occasions like these are part of what units us as family. The gist, banter and fun that happens during the cooking is so relaxing, the tasting of food and meat, very interesting. Even some of us that now live outside the country join them on video calls on occasion like this, send money for the iyawos to buy “minerals”.
What some of you don’t understand is that during cooking like this, you don’t get tired or get choked with lot of things to do, it might just be the seasoning they’ll give you to peel and mix, some it’s onion they’ll cut and that’s all, some will only wash rice and pour it in the pot, mind you, men are also outside slaughtering cows, while children are running around arrange chairs. So if cooking like this is happening, it’s not only women that get involved.
And if you as a Gen-Z wife decided to be woke and not do it, there are tens of other wives ready to do it, they’ll not call you, they only wait for you to have something to do too and people will not show up, you’ll think you can do it all alone with your money, until then, even if you or your husband is a billionaire, you’ll still feel the absence of people and that’s when you’ll know everything is not about money.
It’s also funny how some of you ladies here are already planning war against the family of husband you don’t even have yet.
