Knowing that you know I love you is my greatest gift. Let everyone go to their beloved, while the place I will always be is seated at your feet. Oh Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse, the khalil of my heart.

Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse رضي الله عنه traveled the world extensively by air, sea, and land, calling people to Allah and reviving the Sunnah of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم in every land.

Then Allah turned the hearts of His servants toward him and his city (Medina Baye). So,

There is not a single night that I do not think of your Maqam; nothing will rest this soul until the day my legs would stand in your resting place. O khadim of Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم, you have my heart, tongue, soul, and the whole being.

O Khadim of Rasool’Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم, permit me to smell the fragrance of your city and to rub my cheeks on the soil beneath your soles. Grant me a one-on-one meeting, for this heart has a lot to tell you.

Do not be greedy for things that won't benefit you in the afterlife. Everything on earth will eventually turn to dust. Forget about all that and seek for the spiritual essence.

May Allah increase our sustenance and wealth for the Murid be in Medina Baye at least three times every year: in Rabi al-Awwal, Rajab, and Ramadan ( 27th night). On visiting Medina Baye, Shaykh Hajj Muhammad al-Mishri رضي الله عنه said:

When you visit the maqam Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse رضي الله عنه, kindly observe the best of Adab. Remember, you are NOBODY before him.

When the month of Happiness, Rabi’ al-Awwal, approaches, you will find the disciples and students of Shaykh Ibrahim Niasse رضي الله عنه increasing their longing for Medina Baye and they write many poems in that regard. Let’s keep this sunnah alive!

All your pain, sorrow and anxiety will be removed, and your happiness shall be restored. Insha Allah.
