33yo F with recurrent right radiculopathy & motor weakness post-discectomy.
Key takeaway: Traversed dense scar, cleared the space, & deployed a banana cage in the anterior third. Anterior footprint=ideal fulcrum for segmental lordosis & indirect foraminal height.

It isn’t about creating the perfect X-ray. It’s about identifying every pain generator, decompressing the neural elements, restoring age-appropriate alignment, achieving durable fixation, and respecting the patient’s biology.
Don’t fight the spine.

Grateful for the opportunity to share some of our recent work at the @AOSpine GSC 2026. Academic exchange is what drives our field forward, and it was a privilege to contribute to the global dialogue on spine care this year.

New 2026 Neurospine meta-analysis: Endoscopic discectomy vs microdiscectomy for lumbar disc herniation.
ED: shorter stays, fewer wound issues, better early recovery.
But: higher recurrence(esp. transforaminal)& no long-term edge.
MD still the gold standard for now!

MIS posterior fixation for an unstable L1 fracture.
When appropriately selected, minimally invasive techniques can provide solid stabilization while minimizing soft-tissue disruption and supporting early recovery.

Sharing postoperative radiographs from a recent cervical spine case. It’s always impressive how carefully planned spinal stabilization can have such a meaningful impact on protecting the spinal cord.

If a CT-guided biopsy is inconclusive, a minimally invasive surgical (MIS) biopsy can provide the needed diagnosis. MIS gives adequate tissue with less contamination and disruption, often outperforming open biopsy in difficult areas.
