PRESIDENT TINUBU IS INTENTIONALLY REBUILDING THE SOUTH EAST
I can’t contain my joy and that of my people regarding the great news from DIKESIMBA Anambra; DIKESIMBA NDIGBO, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR!
Certainly, President Tinubu has a date with history, and even more so with the Southeast. He continues to demonstrate his avowed commitment to orchestrating the reconstruction of the Southeast, thereby finally healing the wounds of the Civil War. There are several unprecedented, foundational infrastructural rebirths going on in the Southeast at the moment. We will celebrate the full list later….
But the news from him today is history in itself. I met the President on Wednesday, July 1. The next day, the Hon. Minister for Works and Infrastructure (our own ever-productive and beloved Sen. Dave Umahi) contacted me to send him the details of the roads we had repeatedly discussed. On Friday, July 3rd, I sent him the following two roads:
1. Otuocha–Anam–Abaji (Kogi), about 108km to be dualized; and
2. Oba–Nnewi–Uga–Ihube (Okigwe Junction), connecting Anambra/Imo to the Enugu–PH Road, which also passes through Abia, about 150km to be dualized.
Today, 15th July, I received a message from the Min. of Works that the President has graciously approved both roads for “design and procurement”! What can I say? These two roads constitute critical game-changers for the Southeast, South-South and North Central. The man who tamed the Atlantic Ocean in Lagos is certainly redefining politics, and the Southeast won’t be the same again! For me personally, this is why politics makes sense to me: working collaboratively and building alliances to achieve concrete results that improve the lives of the people.
Thank you, ASIWAJU! History will be kind to you!!
You won't see those influencers and their fake tears, Ai videos and pictures of the Oyo kids talk about the release. They are waiting for the next bad news to jump out and cash out with fake tears and concern.
They made videos everyday and helped Ansaru terr0rists to propagate fear with fake pictures. They created Ai videos of kids with bruises on their backs, used the picture of a kid tied to a brick, which didn't happen in Oyo to cause panic.
They won't make skits about military exploits. Bad news is what fuel their creativity. Even the ones who made fake Ai graphics everyday have gone mute since yesterday.
Watching someone speak with absolute certainty while treating evidence as an optional inconvenience is always fascinating.
@Wizarab10 is running around talking about ransom, despite presenting no evidence whatsoever to support that assertion. It’s almost as if some people would have preferred those victims to remain in captivity indefinitely, just so they could continue weaponizing their suffering as a political “gotcha” moment.
That tells you everything you need to know about the kind of political culture some people have embraced. Their supposed concern for good governance begins and ends with the fortunes of their preferred candidate. Human suffering is reduced to campaign material, and every tragedy becomes an opportunity for partisan point scoring.
This isn’t directed at any ethnicity. It is directed at my own people as a wake up call. Stop confusing performative outrage with genuine concern. These people do not care about you, your families, your communities, or your children any more than those things serve their political objectives.
Support whoever you choose. That is your democratic right. But don’t be naive enough to mistake political opportunism for moral conviction. There are people whose loyalty is not to principles, justice, or the well being of ordinary citizens, but solely to the success of the political figure they have elevated beyond criticism. Everything else, including the suffering of innocent people, is merely a prop in that pursuit.
June 25, 2020. Oyo State lost the Architect of Modern Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Six years later, those who claimed he left just N19k in the Oyo State Government account and alleged that he withdrew N5.2 billion within three weeks to hand over power have quietly swallowed those accusations.
The same man entrusted with managing the state's finances as Commissioner for Finance under Ajimobi later… no worries, Your Excellency. History is gradually speaking for itself.
Today, your legacy endures. Your wife, Florence Ajimobi, serves the nation as an Ambassador. Your longtime friend, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, now leads the nation as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Rest in peace, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. 🕊️
There are over 200 Okadas in several clusters on Castle Rock Road. The number keeps growing as if someone comes to drop them in batches of 40 weekly. Bikes are banned but the state can't enforce basic rules.
Nobody knows where these guys are from? How do over 200 unknown guys with bikes suddenly appear in a community? Who procured the bikes for them? A bike now costs over N1million. What is the source of funding for the bikes?
The police at the Maroko division are only concerned about stopping people driving flashy cars. The state is on autopilot.
A proper fraud. The same Amotekun that he didn't incorporate into their Civil service and whose members don't even have an official letter of employment after 5 years.
He has his audience sha.
EGBEDA/ONA-ARA: AKIN ALABI COASTS TO VICTORY AS HON. AKINJIDE STEPS DOWN, DECLARES SUPPORT.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the House of Representatives seat in the Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency ended in a victory for Hon. Akin Alabi, Chairman of the House Committee on Works, following a peaceful and credible exercise.
Hon. Akin Alabi emerged victorious after his main challenger, Hon. Kazeem Akinjide, stepped down from the race and publicly declared support for the incumbent lawmaker ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The outcome of the primary was widely applauded by party members and stakeholders, who described the exercise as peaceful, free, fair, and transparent. Delegates were commended for their orderly conduct throughout the direct primary process.
The election was monitored by party officials, representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, including the Department of State Services (DSS), and the Nigeria Police Force, to ensure compliance with electoral guidelines and maintain order.
No incidents of violence, disruption, or casualties were recorded during the exercise, as security personnel and party officials ensured effective coordination and transparency throughout the process.
Supporters of Hon. Akin Alabi celebrated the victory, describing it as a testament to his leadership qualities, effective representation, infrastructural interventions, and empowerment initiatives across Egbeda and Ona Ara Local Government Areas.

One thing about democracy is that, contrary to popular belief, it does not always reward competence. More often, it reflects people’s biases, emotions, loyalties, and personal interests.
Take a look at BAT and the other candidate who struggled to explain inflation without linking it to “structure of criminality” and Yet both still commanded massive support.
The reality is simple: people vote for different reasons, and competence is rarely at the very top of the list.
This life is not always balanced, and that is one truth many people struggle to accept.
We have seen genuinely good people battle failed relationships, broken homes, disappointments and emotional pain despite having good hearts and pure intentions. At the same time, we have seen people with terrible attitudes enjoying stable homes, happy marriages and peaceful family lives.
That is the irony of life.
Sometimes, life does not reward people the way we expect. Being a good person does not automatically guarantee a successful marriage, just like having a successful marriage does not automatically mean someone is a better person.
The earlier we understand that everyone’s journey is different, the better for our peace of mind. What works for one person may never work for another.
Not everyone will have the perfect home or marriage society celebrates, and that does not make them failures. Some people will succeed in career, some in friendship,m, some in service to humanity, and some may simply find happiness in ways different from what society expects.
Life is deeply personal. Learn your path, understand your reality, and stop measuring your life with another person’s tape.
