When the argument that Shohei pitches is made but Pete’s fielding is worth more runs than Ohtani’s pitching how can it be anything other than #MVPCA

[abe gavelek @AbeGavelek]

@Cubs_Daily1 Hartshorn, Conrad, and Ayer’s everyone else can get moved for the right price imo

[Ben Verlander @BenVerlander]

I am sitting here wondering where all the Pete-Crow Armstrong haters went?

The ones that posted a play where he lost a ball in the sky and were acting like he’s a lazy/bad defender.

Where are they now that he’s hitting 19-46 (.413) with 5 homers amidst an 11 game hit streak?

[abe gavelek @AbeGavelek]

@DOM_Frederic Ian Happ is a GREAT ball player for some reason his cold stretches feel way worse than when others go dormant

Aldo robbed in his retirement fight😢

[abe gavelek @AbeGavelek]

Alright so Ryan Pressly isn’t the closer anymore right?

[abe gavelek @AbeGavelek]

If Jed Hoyer can’t extend Tucker I might lose my mind. I don’t care if it is 13 years 500 million and half equity of the ball club, he needs to be a Cub for life.

[JJ Watt @JJWatt]

Man I feel for you Bears fans.
That was just brutal.

Literal coaching malpractice.

I have lots of friends who are Bears fans. I can't even imagine rooting for this team. What's worse being a lifelong Jets fan or Bears fan? Both franchises continually find new ways to embarrass themselves. Like they are never going to be good. It breaks my heart. #sadbears

1. Box score hunters immediately jumped on Caleb Williams for going 6-of-13 for 75 yards.

Horribly inefficient. No way he'll survive like that in the NFL!

Meanwhile, a large chunk of those incompletions...

The best pitch in baseball is Shota Imanaga's 4-Seam Fastball. 🇯🇵

What makes it so special? 🤔

The other player headed to the Dodgers is CF Zyhir Hope, the Cubs’ 11th-round pick in the 2023 draft. On it: @JeffPassan @juanctoribio.
