Diary of a bootstrapped CEO:
This month we doubled the size of the team! Incredibly exciting and incredibly humbling.
For the first time I’ve really come to realize that to grow a company it needs to grow beyond yourself. That means hiring more talented people than you, that get paid way more than you.
We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5.
We'll begin restoring access tomorrow, and will share an update soon.
We’re grateful to our users for their patience, and to everyone who worked with us on redeploying the models.

Crazy numbers

Today I had a meeting at elaichi. While I was waiting apparently there was a YC alum meetup and some guy was late. He asked if I was too, because I was wearing a CarsXE jacket. He started asking me about what we do. It turns out they're in the auto space and they could use our service.
Serendipity…👌

If arteries & veins were bundled in neat parallel cables like the right panel, your body would quickly fail.
That tidy trunk couldn't branch out to perfuse muscles, organs, skin, or limbs—most tissues would starve for oxygen and nutrients. One nick to the bundle = instant widespread damage. Movement would kink or compress it constantly.
The "messy" real network on the left is essential: it reaches every cell with redundancy, local flow control, and resilience. Evolution optimized it for exactly this reason.
Apple is flat out telling developers to start designing their iPhone apps for widescreen aspect ratios.
