It is reported that ‘Uthmān b. ‘Affān رضي الله عنه - the son in law of the Prophet ﷺ - donated 10,000 dinārs (gold coins) and 3000 camels for the expedition of Tabūk in 9 A.H.

According to the value of gold & camels of today, that would be around £ 17.8 million !
