What the stamp duty changes mean in real terms..Our only Opal housetype at Rokeles Green has been released at £325,000 (Pt 16). This would have meant stamp duty of £6,250 for non-first time buyers. FTBs now pay £0 stamp duty and non-FTBs pay £3750 - a saving of £2500!
