When doing your analysis and marking out your setups, you should have a clear list of criteria or confluences that must be present before you consider a setup a high probability trade.

For SMC traders, it's mostly:

BOS, OB, FVG, and Liquidity.

For SLP traders, it may be:

BOS, DOBS, BB, Liquidity close to the POI, etc.

As long as all the criteria required by your strategy are met, simply set your pending order, risk 0.5%–1% of your prop account, relax, and let the market play out.

To train yourself to trust your setups and avoid panicking during pullbacks, you have to:

1. Take only high probability setups.
2. Apply proper risk management, so that even when a setup ends in a loss, you still have enough capital to continue trading and potentially recover.

Trust your setup, Manage your risk and Let the market do the rest.

That Gold sell swing was supposed to secure the payout, but it reversed close to TP while I wasn’t available to close manually 😂
Took some beatings after that, hitting almost 3% DD while still in profit.
