🌍 EthSwitch launched EthioPay Instant Payment System at the Second Ethiopian Digital Payment Conference.

The company aims to link Ethiopia to the global financial network by rolling out cross-border payment capabilities.

Drawing inspiration from Nigeria’s Interbank Settlement System, it will adopt a similar model to build a shared interoperability platform.

Its the only National Payment Service Operator. And provides beyond Switch as a shared infrastructure. Ethswitch enables interoperability and provides Domestic Payment Scheme, and also has the responsibility to be a national gateway.
