If you've not attended a Slideshow Karaoke before, the basic idea is that you lot will get access to a shared PowerPoint that will have a section for each of our new committee members. Once the time is up, we'll have to present those slides without ever having seen them before 😅

Good evening everyone ! We are happy to finally announce that this year's AGM will be held on April 17th @ 5:30pm. This is our annual meeting where we will have a financial review, propose new honorary members, review our constitution, and elect our new committee for 2026/27!

As per our constitution, we require 67% of our active members be in attendance. That means that we will need 37 members present to meet quorum, so PLEASE PLEASE COME ALONG! If we do not meet quorum, we will need to postpone the AGM ( which is not fun for anyone )

Without further ado, we are very happy to officially announce what we have been working so hard on alongside other societies for the student body here at Abertay - The CATS Ceilidh!

The CATS Ceilidh will be taking place on the 19th of May at the City Quay, It will be a chance for everyone to gather and celebrate the end of the year and all of our achievements together!

Last week, we got the amazing opportunity to take a tour round the BrightSolid data center! It was an interesting peek into how companies store their data on a large scale and the effort that goes into protecting it. Huge thank you to everyone who put this morning together <3
