@RichStapless They misquoted the article. Dave reported the sciatica was what sat him out last season, not an active issue now. Right now, Bron and Mancias are just putting special focus on maintaining his foot and lower back. Huge difference between active sciatica and routine care.

@RichStapless Honestly Rich, even $200M feels like an overpay. We all saw him fold in the playoffs — they need to accept he’s not part of the future. If he turns that down to take the QO and gets hurt, it's a disaster for him. Detroit should’ve shopped a S&T months ago and never looked back.
@CuffsTheLegend Slightly off-topic Cuffs, but what excites me most about Bron this year is no sciatica or injuries stopping his summer grind. He got a proper offseason to work on his game, will have a full training camp + preseason coming, and should be go for Game 1. Unlike last year.
@RichStapless Fair point on the hypocrisy, but what bothers me is Pelinka's timing. He lied for years promising to pay a premium for the right deal for a center while Bron & AD were on the team, knowing Kessler's price was steep. The second they're gone, now he pays up? That’s what stings.
@Yolitatennis Yes, I think so. Sad but true. Networks push casual star narratives for ratings, and commentators just read the script instead of doing basic homework. Real analysis takes a backseat to corporate soundbites.
@mongerdanlv You’re confusing personal interpretation with actual ITF rules. Under Rules 20 and 29, "without delay" is enforced strictly at the chair umpire's discretion — it isn't a secret ball bounce cap. If the umpire doesn't call a violation, it's legal. Simple as that. Have a good one!
@mongerdanlv "Without delay" means you can't stall or walk around before starting — it is NOT a cap on ball bounces. The rulebook has zero ball bounce limits. As long as the motion is continuous and the umpire doesn't call a violation, it’s 100% legal.
@Tjonesonthenba Zverev can only play who’s in front of him. It’s not his fault the top seeds got knocked out early on his side of the bracket. He controlled what he could, played superb tennis all tournament, and beat a legit player in Ben Shelton to win it. Give him his credit. Come on.
@Big3Tennis What’s the issue with Zverev’s ball bounces? There’s no cap on how many times you can bounce the ball before a serve. As long as you beat the time clock, bounce it a million times if you want. The fake outrage makes zero sense. People are manufacturing drama over anything.
@jordanyroc It is about envy and jealousy, plain and simple. When a player achieves unprecedented longevity, playing at an elite level in year 23 while others faded out in their twilight years, the psychological toll on former players manifests as resentment.
@jordanyroc The math doesn't add up. Calling the 76ers a 'championship ready team' the second LeBron arrives contradicts the narrative that he made LA worse. A franchise hasn't sniffed the ECF in decades, but now it's a superteam? The goalposts move solely based on the name.
