Bible verse for the week, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” - Isaiah 41:10
1. The X-ray below shows how wearing high heels exert considerable pressure on the bones, muscles and tendons of the feet.
2. There are 26 bones in your foot. When you wear high heels, each of these bones is in improper position. This increases your risk of bone pain and osteoarthritis.
3. In addition, the alignment of your knees, back and hip are all sacrificed. When your body is so unaligned, your joints take on more pressure to maintain some balance.
4. Over time, the cartilage in your joints, especially in your knees, can begin to wear. This is the beginning of osteoarthritis.
5. High heels also change your center of gravity leading to knee, hip, and back pain.
6. Stop normalizing wearing high heels.
Repost: for others.
the worst part about growing up is you realize life just keeps going . you can wreck your car && lose your momma && you still got homework & a job to go to regardless . no matter what you’re feeling or going through it’s no pause button to recover , you just gotta keep going ..
The same Qualifications that gave you a job is the same Qualification that someone has but they’re unemployed. The same road you use everyday, it’s the same that killed many people. Be humble. It is by Grace.❤️
if it fills you up, lean in. if it feels right, lean in. if it feeds you, lean in. if it makes you feel loved, lean in. if it makes you feel seen, lean in. if it makes you feel magical, lean in.
the good in your life beckons, waiting and waiting for you to receive it all.
