Ritabrata Banerjee as Bengal LoP means:

1) The Left and Congress are blocked from becoming the automatic alternative.

2) For the past 8 years, Bengal politics has largely been "Joda Phool vs Bada Phool."

If the "Joda Phool" symbol goes to Ritabrata, Mamata and Abhishek could become politically much weaker.

3) With the current numbers, Mamata Banerjee may not be able to send even a single nominee to the Rajya Sabha.

4) During Mamata Banerjee's rule, several Congress and BJP MLAs defected to TMC. She normalized defection in Bengal politics.

@HPhobiaWatch Devendra Fadnavis is not as popular as Yogi ji and Himanta mama, whereas Himanta mama and Yogi ji are a big crowd puller with a huge fan following as well. So I don't think Devendra Fadnavis will be chosen as a PM candidate. Rest only BJP’s leadership knows.
