Despite discrimination, Kerala reduced its debt from 38% to 34% of GSDP, ranks 18th in borrowing growth, and has strengthened its own revenue base to 72.84%, far above the national average of 57.77%. With 59.7% of revenue coming from the state’s own taxes, compared to the national 49.5%, no campaign of misinformation can erase the truth.
