Pleased to announce the constitution of the Ladakh Tourism Development Society (LTDS), a dedicated institutional mechanism to drive sustainable, responsible and community-centric tourism in Ladakh.

The Society will serve as the central agency for planning, promotion, regulation, coordination and implementation of tourism-related initiatives, while ensuring environmental sustainability and cultural preservation in Ladakh.

LTDS, an autonomous body, will bring together government, industry and local tourism stakeholders to strengthen destination management, promotion of adventure tourism, astro-tourism, wildlife tourism, cultural preservation, infrastructure development and policy implementation in Ladakh.

Through this initiative, we aim to position Ladakh as a world-class tourism destination while protecting its fragile ecology, rich heritage and unique lifestyle for our future generations.
