honestly the thing that surprised me the most while watching backrooms was this entire row of teenage boys sitting in front of me and ofc they were talking loudly but as soon as the movie started they all locked in and sat there for 2 hours in total silence like this
15 years ago, I set a firework off next to my head for a video that never even came out, leaving me with mild tinnitus in my left ear. Last month, it abruptly doubled in volume. Fuck you, past me, you stupid dumb idiot
I don't think I've mentioned this before but this artist is the main and indirect reason I started drawing.
When I saw their art on a repost account on Facebook I liked their style so much on that moment that I shared it on my personal account and shared it with the caption "the only obstacle in my way is not having a drawing tablet", it was a joke + I was kinda broke and I couldn't ask it from my parents, you know. It was barely a hobby for me.
Later a friend dm'd me offering to gift me his drawing tablet that he no longer used. Ofc I accepted without hesitation and decided to return to drawing after many years and try again, and here I am. I usually joke about this kind of stories but it's a real one. This is the first time I've been somewhat successful compared to many previous times and I wanted to publicly thank this artist for inspiring me enough to share that post :D ♥️
We make cylindrical spacecraft because cylinders evenly distribute stress and resist bending. The Eridians are such masters of material science that they didn’t develop the same engineering principles as us, they can build any shape and it will be strong!!
I literally don’t care what anyone’s wearing or doing in this picture but I find this a really interesting image against the backdrop of anti-Muslim hate, Muslims being called dirty, ruining the country etc. Because the two Muslim women here are the most classy and demure
