@MujahidSSaad What exactly does knowing this add to our lives? We know who they married, who visited whom, and who is related to whom, but somehow remain clueless about what our leaders did for the public. Perhaps we should start measuring leaders by their service, not their family trees.
Dan4ne is one of the Northern content creators who has consistently used his platform to campaign against APC and Tinubu.
Through the "Muje MuHa" movement, he has become one of the most influential digital voices across many households in Northern Nigeria.
Before Tinubu, no student needed any loan to attend university. When Tinubu came, university education became unaffordable for the children of the poor. Tinubu then introduced student loans.
Now, the APC is listing student loan initiative as part of Tinubu’s achievements, & they want us to praise him for the initiative. 🤣🤣
All of you are mad!
The Nigerian media are ‘creative’;the attacks in the North are directly pointed at Bandits or terrorists which is true. The attacks and killings that happened yesterday on a Church in Anambra that led to the deaths of two people and burning down of buildings was evasively blamed on “Armed Assailants” or “Armed hoodlums” or “Gunmen” or “unknown gunmen”.Same murderous act and criminality but different appellations.
Top 5 worst governors in the north;
1- Kebbi State Governor
2- Plateau State Governor
3- Benue State Governor
4- Sokoto State Governor
5- Kaduna State Governor.
Excerpts from the Friday Sermon
Title: “A Clarification on the Ruling of Celebrating (Mawlid)”
By Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, Imam and Khateeb of Masjid al-Haram
• A Muslim is commanded to follow (the Prophet ﷺ) and forbidden from innovations and introducing matters contrary to the religion. Allah said: “O you who believe, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger”. And the Prophet ﷺ said: “Beware of newly invented matters, for every newly invented matter is a bid‘ah, and every bid‘ah is misguidance.” He ﷺ also said: “Whoever lives among you will see many differences, so hold on to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the rightly guided caliphs after me. Hold on to it tightly with your molar teeth. And beware of newly invented matters.”
• The righteous predecessors (may Allah have mercy on them) strongly warned against innovations and commanded adherence to the Sunnah and leaving all forms of bid‘ah. Abdullah ibn Mas‘ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Follow and do not innovate, for you have been sufficed. Hold fast to the old way, for it is enough for you.” And Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “Every innovation is misguidance, even if people see it as good.”
• Bid‘ah changes the religion, distorts the truth, and replaces the Sunnah with innovation. It takes root in hearts and spreads among people, weakening their bond with Allah and leading them astray.
• Among the most famous innovations is what is done in Rabi‘ al-Awwal in celebrating the birthday of the Prophet ﷺ. The Prophet and his companions did not do it, nor did the rightly guided caliphs, nor those who followed them with excellence.
• Mawlid celebrations include many violations such as mixing of genders, extravagance, raising voices with singing and poetry, and using frivolous words.
• Imam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “If a season is taken as a religious season without basis in the Shariah, like celebrating nights of Rabi‘ al-Awwal which they call ‘the Prophet’s birthday,’ it is an innovation that was never practiced by the pious predecessors. Gathering for the Mawlid contains no religious benefit but rather resembles Christian practices.”
• The truth is that Mawlid celebrations today have become gatherings of dancing, eating, unlawful mixing, and invitations to misguidance. People claim to love the Prophet ﷺ while engaging in innovations he never commanded.
• True love of the Prophet ﷺ is not by innovating, but by following his Sunnah. Allah said: “Say, if you love Allah, then follow me, Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.”
• There is no benefit in innovations; rather, they are misguidance. Whoever calls to them is reviving falsehood and extinguishing the light of the truth. The authentic texts clearly forbid such gatherings, which only open doors of misguidance and ignorance.
• Message to the Ummah: Fear Allah regarding yourselves. Abandon these innovations and misguidances. Hold fast to the Sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ. Islam began as something strange, and it will return to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.
You should have let go of this narrative after deleting your initial post, but you came back with your renewed lies. Let's still dissect this post again:
NORTH WEST:
- The total length of Abuja-Kaduna-Kano highway is 420km from Zuba to Kano. Buhari almost completed Kano to Kaduna, which is 240km (and part of Kaduna to Abuja), that leaves you with the remaining Kaduna to Abuja section, which is 180km in total, so how did you get 350km? And the total sum for the completion awarded to Infoquest is N250 Billion, so where did N764 Billion come from?
- Kano to Daura is the BUA tax credit scheme, since you took over in 2023, that project has stopped. I passed that road just last week to Daura for the Ranar Hausa Festival, and there was no work at all on that road.
- Zaria to Hunkuyi is supposedly 156km? Please check Google Maps to see the actual distance between the two cities.
- Which one is Kaduna to Katsina again? I'm sure it's the same project you're referring to as Zaria to Hunkuyi. You don't even know these places and can't differentiate them. Perhaps it's a deliberate effort to mislead us.
- Stop listing the Kano Northern bypass as a project, it does not exist on the ground, and we want you to show us proof if it does.
- Sokoto to Badagry, for the umpteenth time, I urge you to provide us with pictorial evidence or video of this project, similar to what we see for the Lagos to Calabar project. The truth is, there's nothing to show for it because it seems you've refused to fund it, and it remains an audio project like many others.
These are my observations for the North West, where I come from. I'll leave other Nigerians to answer you on the rest of the geopolitical zones.
So, someone had reported on June 7th that bolts have been missing on the tracks? Removed/Stolen!!!
The million-dollar question is why did trains CONTINUE to operate despite this critical safety risk?
@NalhatNabila@SodiqOyetunji1 Qur’an also confirms this principle:
Allah ﷻ says:
Whoever desires the life of this world and its adornment, We fully repay them for their deeds therein, and they will not be deprived therein. They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter except the Fire...
@NalhatNabila@SodiqOyetunji1 You're right, i don't have a dime in it. But it's sunnah to admonish a fellow Muslim when he/she erred. Granted his method of delivering the admonishment wasn't the best. You should've adhered to the principle of "take the positive from an ill-mannered correction."
@NalhatNabila@SodiqOyetunji1 (Sūrah Hūd 11:15–16).
The ahādith from Sunan ibn Mājah and Musnad Ahmad were classified as authentic by Nasirud-deenul Albani and others.
@NalhatNabila@SodiqOyetunji1 Another narration in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (2986):
The Prophet ﷺ said:
On the Day of Judgment, it will be said to the one who recited the Qur’an to show off, the one who spent in charity to show off, and the one who fought in Jihad to show off: You have received what you sought...
