My best friend was blue-lighted to the cardiac catheter lab at the Royal Free on Saturday. Thanks to the skill and expertise of all these wonderful people in the NHS, she has come through safely. Everyone has been so very kind. So so grateful #ThankYou 🙏 💙 🙏
I will thank all these people personally too….was surprised to find myself blue lighted to hospital on Sat morning. Thank you to @Ldn_Ambulance & #CardiacCathLab & #10West CCU & ward @RoyalFreeNHS for all being UTTERLY amazing. So skilled, caring, reassuring, compassionate. 💜
@RFLchiefexec I am now thanks to this amazing place! Could have been v different. The teams are so skilled Caroline. It’s so important to feedback our fantastic teams so I will do to you (via your PA) so it can be shared with them

Not All Disabilities are Visible’. Some disabilities, like epilepsy, mental health disorders, chronic pain and fatigue, are invisible – but that does not make them any less devastating to someone’s quality of life.
THANK YOU to all who attended @RoyalFreeNHS Disability policy launch event today. So powerful to hear lived experience from so many & the trusts commitment to staff & all in our care. 💜

Heartfelt and moving reflections at the launch of our @RoyalFreeNHS#disablitypolicy from Jan Eversfield, co-chair of @AbilityTheFree network and @RFLchiefexec around the power of disclosure, encouragement of colleagues to do the same & the social model of disability
Amazing #DisabilityPolicy launch session from @AbilityTheFree colleagues this morning. Personal and professional learning for all of us there.
Their incredibly insightful and progressive #DisabilityPolicy is now available on Freenet.

On Friday we will be launching @RoyalFreeNHS first #DisabilityPolicy. We have a launch event starting at 11am which will be recorded so people can watch at any time. This policy is a launchpad for further change to support our staff with long term conditions/disability. Join us!
@DrFrancesRyan I absolutely recognise that. And agree with you. As a disabled health care professional I get the issues. I just wish I knew the answer so that disabled people are consulted properly & conversations about their wishes are had at an appropriate time
Well done to the @RoyalFreeNHS bereavement team for completing the Halloween walk!🎃The team is fundraising to improve the area used by people who experience the death of a loved one at Barnet Hospital.
