Three and a half years in already, and Less than 50km of a 739km road done.

So they did the obvious thing: they moved the road.

They can’t even finish the original plan. Their best solution is to redraw it. Then stand there and call the detour a strategic engineering decision. Brilliant.

This is what happens when you hand power to the least qualified and most crooked people. They don’t raise their game. They lower the definition of success until even failure looks like a win.

They can’t hit any real targets, so they keep moving them, and will always make mediocrity look like excellence.

Put a weak person over capable people and the work shrinks. Put a crooked person over honest ones and the work gets dirty. Do both and “progress” becomes whatever they can still sell without laughing.

No mystery. Just the predictable result of the wrong people holding the title.
