Hey, @BFI @bfiben, I love the London Film Festival. I love film. I was that annoying precocious kid who’d read Empire magazine and The Sunday Times’ culture section and hand pick the films I wanted to see. I’m also deaf with a decent range of hearing but reliant on subtitles.
Hollywood - when you hire disabled people on to your projects, don’t assume you know what their capabilities are. Disabled people know themselves best. If they have a solution that works for them, implement those solutions. Who knows - you may even learn something new.
