A MEDIA TOUR OF LIES
When you are a public figure, you are accountable to yourself, your audience, the public you serve, family, and more. Indeed, your image matters, and so does the image of others. You can’t continue maliciously damaging others while you portray yourself as a hero/saint.
In the spirit of accountability, feel free to share a copy of that ruling you continue to claim. Yesterday, in another media tour, you insisted that the ruling was passed ex parte.
As for me, this is an audio of a Plaintiff pleading to a Defendant to ignore the court process of her own defamation case. Note that after the call, which didn't yield much on your side, you ran to media with all sorts of falsehoods🤷♂️
Sorry that I had to pull out this audio of December 2021. Even when you went on a media tour of lies then, I resisted the temptation of sharing it, because you had had a fair share of bad events happening in your life around the same time (you don’t kick a man when he is down). But since you are back and are insisting that you saw your case through to the end, I can confirm that you were a no-show at all, dear Plaintiff.
There’s another audio of insults to the IO when they insisted you take your gadgets for investigations at the forensic lab in Naguru. Of course you refused, but I will keep it at this for now.
Bye 🙋♂️
Accountability and evidence are paramount for any organization committed to the people it serves and the partners who believe in its work.
Through the #AnnualReport25, we take a moment of reflection, learning and accountability. It allows us to look back at the work we have done with girls and young women, the change we are seeing, the lessons we are carrying, and the areas where we must continue to grow.
To the girls, young women and communities we serve, this report carries your voices, courage, leadership and lived realities because you are the reason the work matters.
To our funders, partners and supporters, this report is also a reflection of your trust and investment. Your support makes it possible to create safe spaces, strengthen girls’ agency, challenge violence, and nurture young women’s leadership.
We invite you to read the MEMPROW Annual Report 2025, reflect with us, share it, and continue walking with us in building a world where girls and young women are safe, heard, supported and able to lead.

What does it take to sustain impact over 15 years and scale it even further?
Yesterday, we hosted a #StrategicBreakfast Meeting, bringing together partners and supporters for a moment of reflection, dialogue, and forward thinking.
As we look back on a 17-year journey of working alongside communities, we recognize that progress of this nature is never achieved alone. It is shaped through partnership, shared learning, and a collective commitment to long-term impact.
The conversations in the room were thoughtful and energizing, grounded in experience, but focused on what more can be done to strengthen and expand this work in the years ahead.
We were especially encouraged by the willingness to engage deeply, to ask critical questions, and to contribute ideas that will help refine @MEMPROWUganda next phase.
To everyone who joined us, we extend our sincere gratitude. Your partnership continues to play a vital role in advancing this mission.
As we look ahead, we remain committed to building scalable, community-driven solutions and to working with partners who are equally committed to sustainable, measurable impact.
We welcome continued conversations with those interested in supporting and investing in this next chapter.

For many girls in our community, unreliable electricity is not an inconvenience , it is a barrier to learning. When power cuts happen, homework is delayed, revision time is shortened, and confidence slowly erodes.
Through the generous support of @tassug01, we have distributed solar lighting kits to girls facing persistent power instability at home.
Reliable solar lighting means:
• Safe and consistent study time
• Improved assignment completion
• Reduced dependence on unsafe or costly lighting sources
• Greater academic focus and performance
#EnergyPoverty quietly disrupts education, and it affects girls disproportionately. By addressing this barrier directly, we are protecting school retention and strengthening educational outcomes.
Access to clean energy is not just an environmental issue. It is an education equity issue.Because sometimes, empowerment begins with light.

“Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the ability to cope with it”~Mahatma Gandhi
This week, we brought together 40 young women for a training on conflict transformation &resolution
A key focus: the power of collective leadership, skills to navigate safely & transform spaces
Day 2 of the training was so impactful.
We began the day with a thought provoking session titled “In Her Shoes,” where we read real, relatable stories of violence faced by women and girls that are shaped by both social and cultural norms.
These stories reflected the painful realities that many live through daily and reminded us as advocates, of our role in ending gender based violence including child marriage, which remains one of the forms of violence.
The afternoon session was an engaging session on use of media for advocacy and mobilization, highlighting how powerful storytelling, journalism and social media can be in shifting mindsets and driving community action.
Every session and story reminded us that advocacy begins with empathy and to truly make change, we must tell these stories with courage and authenticity.

The @SoSurePads team welcomed our representatives and those from @MEMPROWUganda for a detailed tour of their offices. We got to meet the team behind their reusable pads and learn more about their enterprise.
The visit also included discussions on empowering young women and girls, both in and out of school. We focused on menstrual health education and the positive impact of collaborations like ours on empowering girls.

At Kati Kati Grounds tomorrow; @SoSurePads will be educating people on how to use their products
The @MemprowGirls will also be hosting a peer-to-peer session on menstrual hygiene, creating a safe & empowering space to learn, share experiences & challenge stigma around periods
This partnership is about so much more than just pads. It's about driving real social impact by tackling period poverty and promoting menstrual dignity.
This collaboration allows us to showcase our commitment to empowering young women and supporting grassroots change. It also helps us expand our reach among youth-focused audiences & development partners.
Together, we're championing sustainability and girl empowerment, aligning with Uganda's SDG goals on health, education & gender equality.
