@almuhsinalaa no ? kamilos appeared after the 5th century, which is an invented word, and not "camalus in latin" because there is no such word that is spelled camalus that means rope in latin, camel IS the original reading and rope was just Cyril of Alexandria doing a reinterpretation
@dmontetheno1 Yeah !! the HCM, the failed paradigm... no ! actually, we have our own historical critical lens which is more logically consistent then this egg and chicken game...
@EchoOfWinds@haiperexe 1-
@mahdi01231@Deenresponds idk how u struggle to understand a simple line of reasoning, yes AL WAHIDI agreed with ibn qutaybah just like all the other schoalrs did, if u have no scholar disagreeing and u just gonna keep saying "quran and sunnah" while not knowing what that means, then do it ig.
@mahdi01231@Deenresponds a regular position meaning we dont have anyone who was arguing against it ? but the sources we have AGREES WITH US, NOT you, if we have ibn abbas being the only speaking stating something and then only imam ahmad and then more scholar later on talk about it ITS A REGULAR POSITION
@mahdi01231@Deenresponds > "show me where any salaf held this position"
> shows.
> "show me where any salaf held this position to other then isa"
> shows from the same page.
> "fear allah why are you following what a scholar says !"
if you are this ignorant then i dont know what to tell you akhi.
@mahdi01231@Deenresponds ibn qutaybah IS FROM the salaf, the student of ishak if rahawiya the companion of both shafii and imam ahmad, IS SAYING this, now, here ibn qutaybah already refutes you cuz he already grant jacob and david being the sons of god in that metaphorical sense.
