I have spoken with AJ to personally convey my condolences over the passing of his two close associates, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami in the recent accident. I wished him a full and speedy recovery, and prayed with him. AJ assured me he is receiving the best possible care.
I also spoke with his mother and prayed for her. She was deeply appreciative of the call.
Governor Dapo Abiodun, who was at the hospital with them, assured me he will do everything possible to ensure AJ receives the best attention.
May God strengthen the families and grant repose to the souls of the departed.

Three days after Peter Obi left office on March 17, 2014, he authored a memo on Anambra State Government letterhead addressed to Governor Willie Obiano. In this memo, Obi falsely asserted that the sum of N75 billion was held across various bank accounts, a claim that has since been proven to be entirely fabricated.
Obi’s proof? Not bank statements or official financial records from any financial institution, but a document he typed and signed himself. Obi's claim is what no embassy or serious institution anywhere in the world would accept as proof of funds.
When Obiano took office, he found no such money existed. He challenged Obi for evidence, only to be shown the same self-authored document. Obi also claimed he left Anambra debt-free, yet Obiano discovered over N127 billion in debts.
This wasn’t Obi’s first dance with such tactics. In March 2007, after the Appeal Court restored him as Governor, Obi accused his deputy, Virgy Etiaba, who acted as Governor in his absence, of squandering N40 billion he claimed was in the state’s coffers. Etiaba denied the existence of such funds and demanded proof. As governor, Obi never provided it.
Obi’s style of deception reminds me of Chief Lucky Igbinedion of Edo State. In 2007, Igbinedion claimed Edo was debt-free, only for successors Prof. Osunbor and Adams Oshiomhole to uncover over $31 million in foreign debt alone.
It is important to note that Obi hastily prepared this memo a mere three days after his departure from office. Furthermore, he utilized the official letterhead of the Anambra State Government, despite no longer holding any governmental authority.
