Update 2, October 28
Several months ago, a longtime co-collaborator of Black trans experience, known as Bl3ss/Nsambu, had allegations of harm in an interpersonal relationship brought against her.
Our overall assessment right now is that we believe there is space for healing and reconciliation to happen in this situation. However the process is nowhere near finished.
We are now at a good place internally with Bl3ss, and are in the process of reaching out to the individual who made the initial allegations to determine their level of interest in joining this or another accountability process/mediation.
Attn: accountability post
A co-collaborator had allegations of harm made against them on social media, and we're gathering info from the folks involved to see how we should proceed with our own internal accountability processes. We encourage anyone with knowledge of this 1/2
Update 1, Aug. 1- We’ve begun an internal accountability process with our collaborator in response to allegations of harm and a call for accountability from the community. We are now two sessions in and feel tentatively hopeful about the shape this process might take.
1.3 Once we have received all pertinent info to our satisfaction, and provided accountability is needed and healing in this situation is possible or desired by the party alleging harm, we hope to reach out to that party and welcome them into the process.
1.2 We are currently sifting through perspectives on the conflict that have been shared with us and which are on social media while our collaborator prepares a statement describing their perspective on the events.
