Stop calling everything an AI Agent.

Most people confuse automation with agency.

That confusion is why most AI projects never create ROI.

Let me clarify what's what:

𝟭. 𝗟𝗟𝗠 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘀
You ask. They answer. Done.

They don't decide. They don't run tools. They don't own outcomes
They're interfaces, not workers.

𝟮. 𝗥𝗣𝗔 (𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻)
These are strict scripts. If X, then Y, then Z.

When they hit an edge case, they break.
They're assembly lines, not decision-makers.

𝟯. 𝗥𝗔𝗚 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀
Fetch data, pass it to an LLM, and give you an answer.

Useful for support and docs.
But they don't plan or act. It's memory, not intelligence.

𝟰. 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀
A true AI Agent is a digital worker, not just a tool.

Agentic systems:

Automation follows orders.
Autonomy figures them out.

↳ Generic output usually comes from missing context, not weak prompts

Write 10 to 15 lines:

→ What you never tolerate in your work
→ Which standards matter when Claude writes or decides

Drop it into your Cowork workspace folder.

2️⃣ CLAUDE.md

This is your standing order document.

Use it for:
→ Read about-me.md before every new task
→ Match my voice and avoid generic AI phrasing
→ Ask questions before acting when the task is unclear
→ Keep output plain, direct, and ready to use

Write these rules once.

Then Claude stops relearning your preferences every morning.

3️⃣ Projects

Stop treating serious work like one long chat thread.

Build one Project for content, one for ops, and one for research.

Each Project gets its own files, memory, instructions, and examples of good work.

This is where Claude starts knowing where you left off.

4️⃣ Connectors

Connect the tools Claude needs to do real work.

Start with:
→ Gmail for emails and customer threads
→ Google Drive for docs, plans, and source files
→ Google Calendar for meetings and schedules
→ Notion for notes, briefs, and internal systems

The check:
↳ If Claude cannot access the source, it will guess
↳ If Claude can read the source, it can work from reality

5️⃣ Skills

Skills turn repeated work into one command.

Build them for:
→ /weekly-report for weekly team updates
→ /content-brief for repeatable post planning
→ /client-proposal for faster sales drafts
→ /research-summary for turning sources into decisions

Use /skill-creator to build the first one with Claude.

Pick one workflow that wastes 30 minutes every week.

Turn that into a Skill first.

6️⃣ Scheduling

Pick the job you do on repeat.

Monday briefing.
Weekly report.
Inbox cleanup.
Content planning.

Then Claude runs the task while you focus elsewhere.

This is the real shift:
