Wasn't #Ethiopia's National Dialogue meant to help heal Ethiopia's deepest political divisions after years of devastating war in Tigrai? If #Tigrai people did not have representatives at the table, how can the process be described as "inclusive" or "impressive" Mrs. EKaja Kallas?
Good and productive discussion with Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman on U.S.-Eritrea bilateral relations. Recognizing the complex and often challenging dynamics across the region, we explored opportunities to strengthen our partnership and expand cooperation on trade, regional economic development, and security. At a time when collective efforts are more important than ever, we underscored the need to work together constructively to address regional conflicts and advance lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.
Unless Egypt stops arming rebels, we will sign an MOU with Israel allowing Israel to use the Nile water that flows from Ethiopia's highlands. Period!
We have the right to share our water with our Middle Eastern brotherly countries.
Ethiopia's sovereignty is not negotiable. 🇪🇹
US Ambassador in #Ethiopia Ervin Massinga arrived in Mekelle capital city of #Tigrai today. He met with the Vice President of Tigrai & Vice Chairman of TPLF Amanuel Assefa. There is only one government in Tigrai and that is the TPLF led government.
TPLF can’t live/ survive without war. The main goal to drop Pretoria peace agreement & joining Eritrean military is to disrupt Ethiopian peace. US Ambassador to Eth. Should met Tigray president Gen. Tadesse not coup actors.
US Amb to Ethiopia Massinga deserves praise for doing everything possible to advance peace and prevent renewed conflict in Ethiopia. Going to Mekelle and seeing the situation firsthand is much better than trying to follow events from Addis. Bravo!

News: #TPLF-reinstated #Tigray Regional State rejects National Dialogue forum, says region will not participate
In a statement issued yesterday, the Tigray Communication Affairs Bureau said the administration would not participate in the National Dialogue process, arguing that the forum fails to address what it described as the fundamental issues facing the people of Tigray.
The bureau accused the federal government, led by Prime Minister #Abiy_Ahmed, of failing to implement key provisions of the #Pretoria peace agreement and alleged that Tigray continues to face severe humanitarian, political, and security challenges despite the cessation of hostilities signed in November 2022.
