I’m heartbroken to see the images of devastation coming out of NC right now. I was in Beech Mountain visiting my aunt and uncle only a week ago and drove and walked on these same roads that are now washed away. Grateful my family is safe and praying for all still in danger.
My flight was delayed, and I was a bit frustrated. Come to find out there was a fallen soldier on the flight before us. A good reminder that there are always bigger things happening around us during our inconveniences.
