@ValhallaOutcast @Genki_JPN Outside of Assassin's Creed 1, 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations, and 3 (loosely), which are mostly all one connected story. From Black Flag on every Assassin's Creed is pretty much a self contained story. You can play Black Flag with no previous games played and have no issue.

@earthtolydia I've been on PC for about 8 years at this point. I bought a Series X and PS5 largely just to have them (rarely ever used them since I have a PC anyway). So I do not forsee a reason to own any future consoles released.

@earthtolydia One of the appeals of console gaming was being able to own a physical collection. With that gone, you're locked into a singular ecosystem where you're beholden to one storefront, can only use controllers they designate, then have to pay for online.
