Reading this tweet made me remember that I hacked my 3DS 8 years ago and all I did with it was play a romhack version of Super Mario Land 2 that was all colored.

@EdieGuardian Very valid. I don't play much mods or romhacks but I've always had a massive backlog of games because of Steam. Funny enough, I've mainly been using my Switch 2 lately and ever since buying that console, I ended up adding even more games to my backlog because of eshop sales lol.

This happens to me more often than not on many devices. Moding stuff is more for the process than the result sometimes. My Wii and PS2 are modded and see little to no use. Jailbreaking my kindle was as fun as jailbreaking my iPod as a kid, though i still only read books.

Highley recommend that romhack btw. It basically gives the original game the Link's Awakening DX treatment and it slaps. I think it's even called Super Mario Land 2 DX. If memory serves, you can play as Luigi as well.
