Yesterday, we had the pleasure of meeting His Excellency Sayyid Faisal bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam, along with their Excellencies the Walis and officials of the Governorate, to introduce Rikan as part of our ongoing visits to the Sultanate’s governorates, aimed at fostering effective engagement and communication with stakeholders.

Today , we met with His Excellency Sheikh Mahmoud bin Rashid Al Saadi, Acting Governor of Ad Dakhiliyah, and Their Excellencies the Walis of the governorate. The meeting introduced the Foundation's objectives and how it selects projects, and gave the Foundation a closer look at the governorate's priorities for development projects that serve the community.

عقد سعادة المهندس مسعود بن سعيد الهاشمي، #محافظ_جنوب_الباطنة، اجتماعًا مع المؤسسة التنموية للمسؤولية الاجتماعية لقطاع الطاقة «رِكان»، وذلك للتعريف بالمؤسسة وبحث سبل تعزيز التعاون في مجال المسؤولية المجتمعية ودعم المشاريع والمبادرات التنموية بالمحافظة.

جاء ذلك بحضور أصحاب السعادة الولاة ونواب الولاة بولايات محافظة جنوب الباطنة، وعدد من المعنيين من الجانبين.

وتناول الاجتماع عددًا من الموضوعات المتعلقة بتعزيز الشراكة والتعاون في مجال المسؤولية المجتمعية، وبحث أوجه دعم المشاريع والمبادرات التي تسهم في خدمة المجتمع وتعزيز الجوانب التنموية بمختلف ولايات المحافظة، بما يتواءم مع احتياجات المجتمع وأولوياته التنموية.

His Excellency Eng. Masoud bin Said Al Hashmi, #South_Al_Batinah_Governor, held a meeting with Rikan Development Foundation for Social Responsibility in the Energy Sector to introduce the foundation and explore ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of social responsibility and support development projects and initiatives across the Governorate.

The meeting was attended by Their Excellencies the Walis and Deputy Walis of the wilayats of South Al Batinah Governorate, along with a number of officials and specialists from both sides.

The meeting discussed a number of topics related to strengthening partnership and cooperation in the field of social responsibility, as well as exploring opportunities to support projects and initiatives that contribute to serving the community and advancing development across the Governorate’s wilayats, in line with community needs and development priorities.

خطوة جديدة لتعزيز الشراكة التنموية في شمال الباطنة، حيث التقى سعادة محمد بن سليمان الكندي، محافظ شمال الباطنة، بالشيخ المهندس محمد بن أحمد الغريبي الرئيس التنفيذي وأعضاء من الإدارة التنفيذية لرِكان. وركز اللقاء على تحويل جهود المسؤولية الاجتماعية في قطاع الطاقة إلى مشاريع أكثر تكاملاً واستدامة، بما يلامس احتياجات المجتمع ويعزز أثرها التنموي.

استعرضت مؤسسة رِكان خلال أسبوع عُمان للاستدامة، في جلسة «آلية تقييم مشاريع المسؤولية الاجتماعية»، منهجية تقييم مشاريع الاستثمار الاجتماعي وتعظيم أثرها المستدام عبر الحوكمة وقياس الأثر والاستدامة، بما يواكب رؤية عُمان 2040 ويعزز كفاءة المبادرات المجتمعية بكفاءة مستدامة.

عقدت وزارة الطاقة والمعادن اللقاء الإعلامي لاستعراض أبرز الإنجازات المتحققة خلال عام 2025 والخطط والمستهدفات الاستراتيجية لعام 2026، بحضور معالي المهندس سالم بن ناصر العوفي وزير الطاقة والمعادن، وسعادة محسن بن حمد الحضرمي وكيل الوزارة، وعدد من المسؤولين والإعلاميين، في إطار نهج الوزارة لتعزيز التواصل وترسيخ الشفافية وإتاحة البيانات بمصداقية، وشهد اللقاء الإعلان عن الخطة الوطنية للوصول إلى الحياد الصفري والإطار التنظيمي لأسواق الكربون، بما يدعم توجهات سلطنة عُمان نحو اقتصاد منخفض الكربون وتعزيز تنافسية القطاعات الوطنية. 
The Ministry of Energy and Minerals held a media briefing to showcase the key achievements realized during 2025, as well as the strategic plans and targets for 2026, in the presence of H.E. Eng. Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, H.E. Mohsin Hamad Al Hadhrami, Undersecretary of the Ministry, along with a number of officials and media representatives. The event was held as part of the Ministry’s approach to strengthening communication, reinforcing transparency, and ensuring the accessibility of reliable data and information. The briefing also witnessed the announcement of the National Net Zero Plan and the regulatory framework for carbon markets, supporting the Sultanate of Oman’s direction toward a low-carbon economy and enhancing the competitiveness of national sectors.

يأتي إنشاء النصب التذكاري الذي سيصبح معلمًا دائمًا في #شاطئ_الحافة بولاية #صلالة في إطار علاقات الصداقة التاريخية بين سلطنة #عُمان وجمهورية #الصين الشعبية، حيث تصادف هذه السنة الذكرى الـ 45 لإقامة العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين البلدين الصديقين.
