WAJIBU WA #KUMTII MTWALA WA KIISLAMU HATA IKIWA HAHUKUMU KWA KITABU CHA ALLAH NA #SUNNAH ZA #MTUME ﷺ!! 📚💦

“Tunayakuabudu” (نَعْبُدُ).
(Surat al-Baqarah: 256)
Actually, the scholars have discussed this matter.
CAN A PERSON WHO IS TRAVELLING FOR THE SAKE OF SIN SHORTEN THE PRAYERS?
The scholars of the four Madhabs have discussed this topic extensively, but before we dive in, let's establish two scenarios.
SCENARIO A: A man travels from Abuja to Lagos for the sole purpose of committing Zina, or to defraud someone, or for a robbery etc.
In these cases, the sinful purpose is the reason for undertaking the journey.
The juristic term is سفر المعصية — safar al-ma'siyah, meaning a journey undertaken for disobedience.
SCENARIO B: He undertakes a permissible journey but commits a sin during it
For example:
A man travels from Abuja to Lagos for a business meeting but commits zina while there.
Someone travels to visit relatives but drinks alcohol during the visit.
Here, the original journey is permissible, even though the person subsequently commits a sin.
The juristic term is العاصي في السفر — al-'asi fi al-safar, meaning someone who sins while travelling.
This distinction is fundamental because the ruling guiding them might not necessarily be the same. Shaykhul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah discusses this distinction in Majmu' al-Fatawa, 18/254.
For our discussion, we would be looking at Scenario A.
"Can a Man who travelled for the purpose of sin hold onto the travel concessions?"
The majority of the scholars (Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali) generally hold that the travel concessions are conditional upon the journey being permissible.
These concessions include:
- Qasr, shortening four-rak'ah prayers to two.
- Combining prayers, where the relevant conditions permit it.
- Breaking the fast during Ramadan, subject to the applicable rules.
According to this position (which is the position of the majority), a journey undertaken specifically for a sinful purpose does not qualify for these concessions.
Therefore we would say, it isn't permissible. A person who travels for the purpose of sin cannot benefit from the travel concessions.
Some of the evidences are as follows:
1. Surah Ma'idah:2
Allah says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
Allah himself has instructed that Muslims should ensure they do not provide any aid towards the facilitation of sin. If Allah has prohibited his slaves from facilitating sin, then the concessions provided by Allah(SWT) cannot be utilized towards sin.
In the next verse, Allah says: "But whoever is forced by severe hunger, without inclination to sin, then indeed Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."
Some jurists invoke this verse by analogy. They argue that where the Shariah grants a concession, a person who deliberately undertakes an unlawful course of action should not automatically be entitled to benefit from that concession.
And this is the position which I hold, and Allah knows best.
Ibn Qudamah gives us more light into this topic. He mentions in Al Mughni different scenarios.
He states that if a person travels for the sake of committing sin, then the concessions do not apply to him, however, if while he is there, he now changes his mind, then the concessions would now apply to him.
Also, if he travelled with the intention of something permissible, but later changes his key intention to be that of sin, then the concessions are ceased. Lets create a scenario for this one.E
A man was on his way from Abuja to Lagos for a legitimate trade that would earn him 1 Million Naira. On his way, he meets someone who tells him about a fraud business that can earn him 500 Million Naira. He immediately abandons his plan of 1M for that of 500M. Such person would not benefit from the concessions.
As for the one who's intentions do not change but his nafs overcomes him and he commits sin, the sin doesn't takeaway the concessions. He would still be eligible for Qasr and the likes.
And Allâh knows best.

The fire is forbidden for every person who is hayyin, layyin, qarib, and sahl.
Meaning of the 4 qualities:
a. Hayyin – a calm person who is not harsh or quick to anger.
b. Layyin – gentle in speech and behaviour, bringing peace to others.

I know you to be very ignorant. But being ignorant isn't inherently bad, it is when you flaunt it that makes it worse. This is typical of you on this app. And as you display your ignorance, unless I don't see, it won't go unchecked.
Let me help you cos it seems those who hired you for this propaganda work didn’t arm you well.
First of all, early Islamic historians stated that the lineage from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) up to Adnan is authenticated, comprising twenty-one documented generations.
However, tracing every name from Adnan back to Ishmael is speculative because of the long span of centuries and the oral nature of pre-Islamic Arabian genealogy.
In fact, the Prophet (peace be upon him) has settled this himself fourteen centuries ago. He is a man of absolute truth. He never hid anything from us.
If you check Al-Tabaqat al-Kubra by Ibn Sa'd and the Seerah of Ibn Hisham, they brought the narration of Ibn Abbas that whenever the Prophet Muhammad traced his lineage, he stopped precisely at Adnan and would say:
The genealogists have lied (or fallen into error).
What does this tells you? It tells you that Islamic scholarship prioritizes historical integrity over making up fake, unbroken family trees to satisfy later critics.
Don’t rejoice yet, because I am about to prove it to you from historical, biblical and epigraphical evidence and sources —the one you claimed do not exist.
Truly, Adnan is recognized as the father of the Adnani (Northern and Western) Arabs. Classical genealogy and external historical records show that these northern Arabian tribes are the descendants of Kedar (Arabic: Qaydar), the son of Ishmael.
Why do I say so? If you check Genesis 25:13, Kedar is named as the second son of Ishmael. Throughout the Old Testament, the descendants of Kedar are identified as the inhabitants of the Arabian wilderness (Isaiah 21:16, Isaiah 42:11).
If you then check the Tarikh Ibn Khaldun (The Chronicle of Ibn Khaldun), he explained how tribal lineages preserve their macro-identities through oral traditions and geographical settlement patterns, even when intermediate names are lost over time.
This brings me to the secular historical proofs: The Kalhu Annals of Tiglath-Pileser III (dating from 745 to 727 BC) alongside the Rassam Cylinder of Ashurbanipal.
You see these two texts, they contain Neo-Assyrian royal inscriptions that documented campaigns against the "Qidri" or "Kedarites," and identified them as the dominant Arab tribes ruling the geographic region of Northern Arabia and the Hejaz where the Quraysh eventually emerged.
If we combine these sources, we can establish that the Kedarite descendants of Ishmael maintained a continuous, dominant presence in the Hejaz across centuries, which is the very lineage the Quraysh emerged from.
By extension, the ancestral link between Adnan and Ishmael is a robust historical reality even if intermediate names are lost due to the centurial differences.
In addition, your subtle claim to mean that nothing about the Prophet Muhammad is clear is an astonishing display of historical illiteracy, and I don’t blame you for it. I blame those gave you this hatched job you are doing.
Renowned non-Muslim historian Dr. Craig Considine in his book: “The Humanity of Muhammad: A Christian View (2020)” and the early orientalist John Davenport in his landmark 1869 work: “An Apology for Mohammed and the Koran,” both agree that Prophet Muhammad is arguably the most meticulously documented religious figure of the ancient or medieval world.
While figures such Jesus, Moses, or Buddha have massive historical blind spots regarding their daily lives, the biography of Muhammad was recorded under the strict rules of Hadith transmission science (Isnad). You don’t know all these bro.
We know how he walked, how he ate, his political treaties, his military campaigns, his family life, and even the minor details of his personal appearance. Dey play.

This is what happens when arrogance meets profound ignorance.
Islam does not teach that passing wind disconnects you from God. That is a lazy and childish argument.
In Islam, passing wind is not a sin. It is a normal human biological function. It breaks a temporary state of physical readiness called Wudu. Wudu is a specific preparation required for one highly formal act of worship, which is the daily prayer known as Salah.
For those of us that have sense and it’s still working, imagine you are invited to a formal meeting with a head of state. There is a strict protocol for how you present yourself. You do not walk into a royal court lacking basic physical discipline.
God is the King of Kings. The Salah is a formal, scheduled audience with Him. Breaking wind violates the physical protocol of that specific meeting. It means you must step away, wash up, restore your focus, and then return to the prayer mat.
It does not mean your connection to God is cut off. A Muslim can remember God, make personal prayers, seek forgiveness, and speak to the Creator at any moment of the day, whether they have Wudu or not. Even falling asleep breaks Wudu. Does that mean a sleeping person is disconnected from God?
To make this even clearer, a woman who is menstruating is exempted from the formal Salah for days, yet she is never disconnected from God. She can supplicate, remember God, and talk to Him freely at any time. The spiritual bond remains intact.
You are rejecting a religion based on a cartoonish misunderstanding of it. You thought you were making a profound point, but you only revealed that your logic cannot tell the difference between formal ritual discipline and a spiritual relationship.
Common sense is indeed not common anymore. May the Almighty guide you.
Allah knows best.
