The Steam Deck is optionality, the Switch is a convenient but locked ecosystem. For me, online play is free, emulation is free, and games are cheap. Cyberpunk can look better when running slower on Switch 2 because they'll charge $70 for it.

@mikedun11 @sophologist In handheld mode the Steam Deck actually runs faster than the Switch 2, and the OLED variant runs longer on a single charge. This is because the Switch 2 has to underclock pretty heavily to maintain an acceptable battery life.
