One of the greatest commercials you never knew: Bruce Lee vs Karate Kid ~
The “Dojo” Lipton Brisk ad is a late-1990s stop-motion puppet commercial for Pepsi-Lipton, created by J. Walter Thompson in New York. It launched around 1996 and used latex puppets of stars like Frank Sinatra, James Brown, and Sylvester Stallone.
It was shot in London by Loose Moose, a stop-motion and mixed-media production company. One description notes it took about four months of animation and post-production.
There’s something about watching a human being create with their own hands that never gets old.
Tiny chip after tiny chip in a piece of glass… until somehow, something beautiful begins to appear.
Then you realize the woman creating it is doing all of this while living with a disability.
I don’t know. Sometimes people are just incredible.
This is one of those times.❤️🙏
