This is completely false and I can't believe so many people with high profiles are peddling this myth
The victorious boxer Imane Khelif is a woman. She was born a woman and is not transgender. She's from Algeria where it's illegal to transition
This is bigotry, plain and simple
I think most my relief about that goal was for the fact that it might make these commenters stop being such negative Nancys, disallowed or not
They were getting on my nerves

A stark warning from the regulator @OfficeStudents .
This is what happens when there is no plan or discussion about how the country should properly fund higher education and the research we do to improve lives for our communities.
Universities found their own solutions to the funding crisis – reform what we do and how we do it, drive down costs, improve value for money and seek other sources of income including international student fees.
We followed government strategy in increasing international student numbers. If they now want to cut that, they ought to acknowledge the damaging consequences on local economies and communities like Coventry when they deliberately harm one of its major employers, which is a driver of prosperity and innovation and a massive export success.
We are a global education group and can and will adapt. It won’t be painless but we have strong reserves and diverse income streams. We can teach more students overseas where they are valued and welcome. That won’t help our UK communities to anywhere near the same extent.
