Each person’s #RecoveryJourney is unique; everyone has different needs. Access to housing, education, social support, and employment affect the ability to enter and maintain recovery. But with the right supports and resources, everyone can recover and lead a meaningful life.
These events offer individuals the opportunity to receive essential resources and connect with others who are experiencing similar challenges. By sharing their stories and lived experiences, peers can engage others in #recovery with a vital sense of belonging, support, and hope.
No one is alone on their #RecoveryJourney; millions of Americans are affected by substance use each year. To support people with substance use & addiction issues, Acacia Network frequently hosts resource events in partnership with our dozens of affiliates across NYS.
