MEC for Health and Wellness,@FaithMazibukoSA, has joined the 13th Midwifery, Obstetric, Neonatal and Child Conference (MONEC), where healthcare professionals from across Gauteng are gathering to advance maternal, neonatal and child health.
Over the next three days, experts will engage on critical issues including strengthening midwifery led ultrasound services, the management of hypertensive disorders in pregnancy, reducing maternal deaths related to Caesarean section births, improving access to antenatal care for adolescents, newborn hearing screening, and developmental supportive care for neonates.
Together, these discussions will help strengthen the quality of care and improve health outcomes for mothers, newborns and children across the province.
