After closely monitoring the weather conditions that are predicted to impact our area tomorrow (Tuesday), Hernando Schools has decided to move to an Early Release schedule for Tuesday. All after-school activities and events for Tuesday will also be cancelled.

Endeavor and Discovery staff went all out for our annual holiday luncheon. Mr. Copeland and Mr. Brown’s Secret Santa announcements are always a hit!

Congratulations to our door decorating contest winners, Ms. McCarthy and Ms. Hilyard’s science students! Mr. Odachowski’s Discovery High students took 2nd place and Ms. Holcomb’s computer lab students came in 3rd. Great decorating everyone!

Last Wednesday we brought a group of Endeavor and Discovery students to Chinsegut Conservation Center as part of our PBIS field trip program. We had a great time learning about wildlife signs, making molds of animal prints, and dissecting owl pellets!

Earlier this month Wilton Simpson Technical College hosted a Coffee and Careers event that engaged and inspired our high school aged students. We had over 60 students in attendance and many stayed to complete interest sheets and seek additional information!

Congratulations to our 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Keri Seroski! She is our outstanding school counselor, and we appreciate her for all that she does for our students and staff.

We’d also like to recognize our other finalists: Tiffany Hoblit and Aimee Crisp.
