We can't say thank you enough to @BelmontUniv for expanding the Bridges to Belmont scholarship program to another 6 MNPS high schools, bringing the total to 10 schools and 50 students next fall. 👏https://t.co/5jnsoDFpCP
What a wonderful way to spend a “break”. Thank you @garthbrooks and @trishayearwood for spending some time with our wonderful @WeAreHB2 and helping to better our community at the Jimmy & Rosalyn Carter Work Project. #HabitatCWP
Big thanks to @HCAhealthcare Skyline for hosting our Model Academy of Health and Human Services teachers for this year’s Externship! We learned a lot about how the hospital operates and how to prepare our students for their future careers working here! #AONExternship
@NashHub With so much more time, it’s important to make sure that you have enough activities and differentiation to keep students of all levels engaged and active in their learning.
@NashHub When I was a teacher in the classroom on the block schedule, it was the first time I had ever taught on the block schedule. I was also lucky enough that we have an excellent framework for structuring time on the block schedule that is standard among all teachers at Hunters Lane
@NashHub Furthermore, I would argue that continuing to add to your pedagogical toolbox is one of the most important things you can do when teaching on the block. .
@NashHub We then engaged in our Guided Practice where I led the class and we Built our knowledge of the standards we were working on. Students then worked on Independent Practice, before we wrapped up class with some kind of Voice and Verify. (ROY G BIV)
@NashHub Using the Warrior Rainbow as a framework for teaching I was able to better structure my time in class, ensuring that we started with a Ringer, Oriented ourselves for that day, recapped our lesson for Yesterday (or the last time we were together).
