The Newmarket Pony Academy is a unique learning experience designed provide access to horses/ponies and improve young peoples mental health and and wellbeing.

Our zones of regulation board encourages young people to learn strategies to cope with feelings so they can be calm & ready to learn.
This allows young people to recognise triggers, develop problem solving skills and have a deeper understanding of their own emotional regulation.

Being around horses has proven to improve confidence, self esteem and help identify and express emotions. It reduces anxiety and stress and encourages building trust and healthy relationships - we see proof of this in so many of our young people.

What fantastic produce we have got from our garden - kindly supported by Greener Growth!

Star volunteer Cath has worked her socks off (alongside some of our young people), to ensure the garden has been looked after and well tended, and it is fabulous to see such rich results!

We take full advantage of the summer weather (when it eventually arrives) and make sure that the children at the NPA start to learn a little about food, plants and the environment.

They all get stuck in to planting and caring for the raised garden beds that we have on site.🥬

Henry is quite the yard favourite (don't tell the others!) and has been out and about recently, strutting his stuff at some local shows. He even got to dress up at Christmas as well!
